Dr. Albert Tomsic

Dr. Albert Tomsic
Dr. Albert Tomsic was born and raised just south of Pittsburgh in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.  After graduating from Canon-McMillan High School in 1979, he attended West Virginia University, where he earned a Bachelors degree in chemistry.  He then attended dental school at the University of Pittsburgh and graduated with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1987.

Dr. Tomsic then practiced general dentistry for the next 20 years, 17 were in his private practice in Canonsburg.  During that time, he attended numerous courses to better care for his patients, and from 1998 through 2003 he was a visiting faculty member at the L.D. Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, FL.

As Dr. Al journeyed through these educational experiences, he began to seriously entertain the idea of narrowing his focus to the area of endodontics and doing a two year residency.  So in 2007, he sold his practice and entered the Post-Graduate Endodontic Program at WVU.  In 2009, he earned both his specialty Certificate in Endodontics and his Masters of Science Degree in Endodontics.

In his free time, Al enjoys cycling, tennis, karate, drawing and painting, and a bit of atrocious guitar playing.  He has been married for 18 years to Andrea, who obviously has a lot of patience.
